At Magajin Gari, Kaduna State, on Monday A Shari’a Court dissolve a 45 years old Marriage over alleged infidelity.
The complainant had earlier prayed to the court to dissolve her union with Alhaji, saying he accused her of cheating in the presence of their children.
She said that the complainant had not been exercising his duty as a husband for 20 years, a situation she had to endure for the sake of their children.
“I am now old and I don’t have energy for these kinds of things; what pains me the most is him suspecting me of cheating.
“I am no longer interested in this marriage,” she said.
The judge, Malam Anas Khalifa, then confirmed the one pronouncement of divorce made by the defendant after an effort to settle out of court proved abortive.
