 Commercial transportation has been affected as a result of the protest, while some private cars were allowed to pass.

“It is tough over here. The road has been blocked and there is a need for the presence of the police here before things get out of hand.

“As it is, no commercial bus is allowed to pass through. Only a few private cars have been allowed to pass,” Muhammad Jamiu An eye witness revealed

Although we reported that Alowonle was arrested by the police on Monday night for being in possession of a police pistol and ammunition.

However, in reaction, the state government, through Kolapo Alimi, the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, on Tuesday, raised alarm over the alleged shooting of Alowonle to near death in police custody over a domestic matter.
