Ndidi sustained an injury in the Foxes 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon.

The defensive midfielder was replaced by Oliver Skipp after 52 minutes The 27-year-old battled with injuries in recent seasons but Van Nistelrooy is desperate to avoid a similar occurrence this time around.
