Twenty five suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested at different locations in Benin City, Edo State.
The Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, confirmed the arrests on Wednesday.
The suspects were arrested based on credible intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet related fraud.
Items recovered from them include eight exotic cars, laptops and phones
The Commission added that they will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
